How We Work At ANR Construction, Inc.

See The Rules Applicable in ANR Construction, Inc.

For years, our company has had strict rules in place so that both our employees and clients feel safe. Below we present our rules that apply at ANR Construction, Inc.

Jobsite Safety Inspections

The Safety Engineer and an outside Safety Contractor check ANR Construction, Inc. job sites every day for traffic control, safe work practices, and PPE use to make sure that workers are following the company's safety program.

Weekly Toolbox Talks

Every week, the manager and superintendents hold a safety meeting with all of the workers to go over a new safety topic and talk about any accidents that happened the week before.

Monthly Safety Board Meetings

Members of the board are from the safety department, the superintendents' offices, and the senior staff. This group's job is to look over accidents and come up with new rules and instructions for the safety program.

Accident Investigations

The safety department looks into accidents and injuries. We use a root cause assessment to figure out what caused the event in the first place.

Annual Safety
Training

The superintendents and foremen have all had 30 hours of OSHA training. From January to March every year, people get training in how to use PPE, give first aid, do CPR, direct traffic, become certified as a flagger, use a forklift safely, and do construction safety.

Compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA And State Regulations

Together with the Underground Contractors Association, we take part in the OSHA Strategic Partnership Program. Contractors who are willing to work with OSHA on safety issues for employees and the public can participate in this program.

Zero Tolerance Drug / Alcohol Policy

ANR Construction, Inc. thinks that the use of drugs and drink at work is directly linked to the number of deaths, injuries, and property loss that happen on the job. Our employees are always trustworthy.
